Holidays Around the World is an extremely popular unit in elementary schools and homeschool classrooms throughout the month of December. Although some teachers refer to it as Christmas Around the World, I encourage you not to do so as that is not an accurate term when referring to the various cultural celebrations on a global level.

If you are considering teaching this unit in your classroom I am here to help make your job so much easier.

I wrote a blog post that shared my 5 Simple Steps for Teaching Holidays Around the World and showcased a comprehensive, jam-packed resource I created that includes all of the Holidays Around the World activities that I've used over the years.

I recently added 70 additional pages of reading comprehension graphic organizers to the bundle. They are themed to the specific holidays and can be used with any book or media resource you choose.

Many teachers worry that a Holidays Around the World unit may be costly because they don't have resources to teach it. This is not the case at all. In fact aside from the printable pages from my resource bundle, the only other materials I used were books from the library and free online videos
